Seminar on CRRS and Hotline services as part of national Disability Service Standards

11.00.am – 11.30am on Tuesday, 12 February 2013
Level 1, 20 Chandos Street, St Leonards

CRRS and the Hotline also invites representatives to a short seminar designed to inform Disability Employment Services, advocacy services and Australian Disability Enterprises about the scope of the services, how to engage with them, what to tell your clients and your quality assurance obligations under the Disability Service Standards.

CRRS and The Hotline are impartial services, provided by the Australian Government (FaHCSIA) and delivered by the WorkFocus Group.

CRRS is a complaints resolution service for people using Australian Government-funded disability employment and advocacy services. People with disability and their carers can seek resolution on issues that have not been resolved to their satisfaction by these organisations.

The National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline is an Australia-wide telephone hotline for reporting abuse and neglect of people with disability. The Hotline works with callers to find appropriate ways to deal with these reports.

These services operate under the national Disability Service Standards. Keeping your clients informed of their existence is vital in giving them an avenue for feedback, and maintaining quality systems and quality assurance.

Please RSVP to Sousan Hajeid on 1800 880 052 or shajeid@workfocus.com by 4 February 2013.

Numbers may be limited due to venue capacity. In this instance, a waiting list will be implemented and further seminars will be held.

A national schedule of events will be posted shortly. Seminars will run in all states and territories of Australia.
